The Stable Yard
In November 2007 work finally begins on the long awaited new stable yard at Rollestone. This page will document it's progress from start to finish

Tue 11 Dec: After Heavy rain the opposite side is now built up too. |

Tue11 Dec: The sand is consolidated in the forground and behind 100mm insulation is laid in the tack room floor |
12 Dec: The stable floors are poured . |

Fri14 Dec: You can see the right hand side is now blinded with sand ready to be laid with concrete. |
Mon 17 Dec: The stable floor slab is finished!
Next the yard area is to be graded and levels set ready for the drains and yard to be laid. |

16 Feb: A bit of a quiet spell over christmas and the new year followed by a period of drainage works which wasn't overly excting to photograph... now the block work for the 2 storey buildings begins... Chris & the girls laying blocks in what will be the tack room |

10 April 2008: Nearly 2 months on and great progress has been made after Chris has finally given in and got some help from some brickie friends! |
