Thanks to a delay caused by an objection to the planning permission for the stable yard we were unable to build the yard and farm buildings at the same time, as was originally planned, and the whole build was delayed by months, meaning we had to do most of the work in the wet, muddy winter conditions. This meant we had no stabling for the horses over winter so planning permission for temporary housing in the multi-purpose agricultural barn was applied for and granted and Chris began the large job of building them.
