FARM NEWS
DECEMBER 2005 12 December: More sad news from Rollestone. 3 days ago Kossette gave birth at 8 months gestation to stillborn twins which were missed when she was scanned. Both were well grown, and both fillies - they just got too big for mum to carry. Very sad and a tragic reminder of how things can go wrong NOVEMBER 2005 25 November: 5 new arrivals joined the Rollestone babies as full grass liveries at around midnight in the ice and snow. They'd travelled all the way from Germany and looked a little shell shocked bless them but have all settled in very well - 4 weanling coloured warmbloods and 1 smart little Don Primero mare 24 November: Tragically we lost Kitkat last night to a sudden, severe colic attack, which the vet said would have been inoperable even if we had been able to get her to surgery in time. A hugely sad lost to the Rollestone mares, Kitkat was a lovely mare and will be missed by us all here We do not currently have a phoneline, let alone a broadband connection at Rollestone - hence the delayed updates drom Denis's house - normal service will resume as soon as we are connected to the 21st century again! 11 November: Another new livery arrives - a young Lusitano x Trakehner mare called Dinage 6 November: A new livery arrives, a 6 month old weanling colt, Tango OCTOBER 2005 18 October: R'Stone Aramis & Rollestone Inde-Cent are successfully weaned 13 October: The second half of our home arrives...piccies here at the bottom of the page 11 October: The first half of our mobile home arrives - piccies here 4 October - FINALLY!
