Bred by the Olympus Stud, Eclipse is a black Trakehner mare graded and approved for breeding with the Trakehner Breeders Fraternity. Out of Thoroughbred mare Blazonry and by the graded stallion, Fleetwater Olympus, she is an exciting addition to the Rollestone breeding program.

Eclipse combines absolutely top class paces and an elegant beauty with excellent bloodlines for breeding sports horses. Her granddam Opushka was an elite graded trakehner from the same family as the Olympic Silver Medallist Pepel and the Olympic Show Jumping stallion Almox Prints J. Opushka was the dam of Date Up an international show jumping mare who won at the Pan Amercian Games and was the Norwegian Show Jumping Champion. Opushka was also the dam of the incredibly successful eventing sire Fleetwater Opposition
